DESCRIPTION:**NALA MEMBER EVENT** \nSeptember’s NALA Connect session will be a special treat as we have NALA members Shannon Welsh and Angela Wartes-Kahl\, co-founders of Coast Fibers in Oregon alongside Will Altschwager\, to share insights from their recent travels in Europe studying the flax and linen industry. Their presentation will highlight key takeaways and explore how European models can inform efforts to build a resilient\, sustainable flax-to-linen industry in North America. \nThis is an especially timely talk as we combine their insights with data recently submitted by flax fiber growers in North America.
