SUMMARY:LANDIS VALLEY SUMMER INSTITUTE – FLAX: FROM FIELD TO FABRIC
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to process flax into fabric by hand starting in the field! \nIn Flax: From Field to Fabric you begin with pulling the flax in the field and progress through breaking\, heckling\, carding\, using a drop spindle to spin yarn\, dying the yarn and finally weave a small piece of fabric. \nThis three-day hands-on course includes a drop spindle and a lap loom for you to take home to continue your journey after the class. \nAll materials and equipment are included.
